The Maple-Lemon Cleanse is made with Grade B Maple syrup, lemon juice, cayenne pepper, and water, and provides all the minerals and nutrients necessary for up to 30 days; get Grade B Maple syrup, as Grade A does not have enough minerals in it. Bentonite clay, and Psyllium seed hulls can be used as well, and many people try to stay on the Maple-Lemon-Cayenne cleanse for 10 to 14 days. This drink is sometimes referred to as the, “Master Cleanse.”
Liquid Bentonite clay, and powdered Psyllium seed hulls (Metamucil, etc.) have been added to the recommended Maple-Lemon-Cayenne cleanse. They are suggested because the lemon juice and cayenne pepper help to flush impurities out of your body (and into your intestines) where Bentonite and Psyllium come into play, picking up different types of impurities and moving them out of your system.
Bentonite is a kind of clay that has a large negatively charged surface area when powdered and swollen with water, and many metals can be attracted to this; Bentonite acts like thousands of tiny magnets moving through your intestines, grabbing any impurities that are positively charged. Powered Psyllium seed hulls, when mixed with water, absorb many other things in your intestinal tract. Psyllium grabs different things than Bentonite, and they work well together, picking up almost everything being flushed from your system by the Maple-Lemon-Cayenne cleanse.
Recipe:
(Weaker): ¼ cup maple, ¼ cup lemon, ¼ teaspoon cayenne; mix with 1 quart of water.
(Stronger): ½ cup maple, ½ cup lemon, ½ teaspoon cayenne; mix with 1 quart of water.
Make some up in the morning, and take it with you, drinking it throughout the day; try to drink around 2 quarts of the spicy lemonade per day, and another two quarts of water, as well.
Schedule:
Breakfast is: liquid Bentonite (1 Tbs per 8 ounces of water) and Psyllium (1 Tbs per 8 ounces of water), then at least 10 ounces of lemonade cleanse.
(Drink at least another 8 ounces of water or lemonade cleanse in-between “meals.”)
Lunch is: Psyllium (1 Tbs per 8 oz water), then at least 10 ounces of lemonade cleanse.
(Drink at least another 8 oz of water or lemonade cleanse in-between “meals.”)
Dinner is: Bentonite (1Tbs per 8 oz water) and Psyllium (1 Tbs per 8 oz water), and at least 10 ounces of the Maple-Lemon cleanse.
